Choosing a school for your child can be a complex process. We want to answer your questions about our program and enrollment process. Our admissions process is simple:

First: Take a tour! We invite you to visit The Children’s School to observe progressive education in action. Contact us to schedule a personal tour any time this summer, or attend one of our monthly First Friday open houses during the school year.  We find this tour answers many questions and initiates new ones, so ask away! Our aim is to make placements that are a good match for the child, the family, and the school.

Second: Submit an application.  The 2017-2018 application should be submitted with the $75 application fee. We'll also ask permission to talk with your child's current care provider / teacher.  This application is shared with the Admissions Committee.

Third: Have a conversation with our Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Christy Martin. We find this conversation helpful in answering remaining questions parents have as well as understanding the needs and goals for your child before enrollment decisions are made.

The Children’s School welcomes and celebrates all aspects of diversity, including differences in ability, interests, needs, ethnicity, gender, race, religion, sexual identity, and socioeconomic status.

"The role of parents in the education of their children cannot be overestimated."
